Apart from these
schemes, the Zonal Cultural Centres also organise other cultural
programmes using funds generated through interest earned on the
corpus and from money raised through other sources. These
programmes normally include workshops for painting, mask making,
stone carving as also workshops in various forms of folk and
classical dances. Festivals and programmes as per the request of
participating states are also organised. These Zonal Centres are
also actively involved in organising various programmes in
collaboration with other NGOs for promotion of art and culture in
the member states of their zones. |
