Vardha Hut – Maharashtra

This flimsy-looking hut is of the type used by bamboo workers, and it is therefore not surprising that they build their huts of the material they are familiar with; bamboo. The bamboo walls are plastered with mud for additional weatherproofing and privacy. This altogether basic hut comprises one living room and a kitchen. The roof is covered with bamboo and tiles.
