Yatra Paschimalap: Hanumangarh Rajasthan

This grass root level cultural programme was organized at talukas/tehsils of Hanumangarh District from 20th to 26th January’ 19 in collaboration with District Administration. The objective behind this grass root level cultural programme is to make people aware of the diverse cultural heritage of other States and enthuse cultural coordination and interaction among the was participating artists and the local people.

Seven venues/tehsils of Hanumangarh district, namely Hanumangarh Junction, Sangaria, Rawatsar, Nohar, Bhadra, Hanumangarh Town, and Pilibanga were covered during the Paschimalap Yatra programme. A contingent of 90 folk/tribal artists consisting of Dekhni, Samai of Goa; Raas, Garba, Tippani of Gujarat; Kalbelia, Terahtal, Bhavai, Chari, Bhapang of Rajasthan; and Ghoomar of Haryana, Gidhha of Punjab performed in each taluka headquarter of Hanumangarh District.
