Potter’s Hut – Gujarat

Bicholim is the famous center of Goan pottery; pottery that is noted for the decorative animal forms, as well as household articles and votive terracotta pieces. A covered verandah served the dual purpose of providing workshop and storage. Behind the hut, an arc-shaped kiln has employed the firing of small quantities of pottery.
